Ways to effectively fish The Boomer
The Boomer is super-versatile and has several presentation options. First, think of it as a jig: effortlessly skip it far under docks, pitch it to vertical cover and let it pendulum down on a tight line, or sink it down and hop it along the bottom. The Boomer is equally effective when fished like a crankbait—by making casts at specific targets and maintaining a steady retrieve while deflecting off cover. It’s also deadly to fish by making a long cast and allowing it to sink to the bottom, then using a very slow, continuous retrieve or subtle drags and pauses. This presentation mimics a bottom-feeding baitfish, and the Boomer's unique weighting will keep it upright on the bottom for a realistic profile.
